- At the 2011 Not For Profit Conference in Adelaide
We recently attended "Shaking the Tree" a conference specifically for Not For Profit organisations. Key speaker Tim Costello provided valuable insights into the challenges of running World Vision. Other speakers covered hot topics such as recent accounting changes affecting NFPs, how social networking media like Facebook can be harnessed and exploited by NFPs, tools and methodologies for measuring the social impact of NFP programs and so on.
- Trees For Life turns over a new leaf
Principal consultant Bob Godwin has been helping TFL choose a new CRM system. Having developed a Request for Proposal document with requirements tightly aligned to TFL business goals and objectives, he is currently involved in evaluating the tender responses. The winning software will be chosen soon. Watch this space!
- Prescribing new systems for Logic Plus
We are currently developing an IT Strategy Plan for medical software and managed services provider Logic Plus. The focus is on ensuring they have the right systems to continue delivering exceptional service while accommodating rapid growth.
- Philmac has a beating Pulse
Irrigation equipment manufacturer Philmac has recently introduced the latest version of the Pulse warehouse management system. Godwin Consulting were engaged to develop the interfaces between Pulse and their Enterprise Resource Planning system ERPLX.
We continue to provide the world's biggest IBM i software vendor with programming development assistance in Sydney.
Contractors are currently supporting a global manufacturer's System21 Aurora software and upgrading another well known manufacturer to the latest ERPLX software with WebTop interface.
- Creating "Green" applications
We currently have a contractor helping Greens Foods in Sydney enhance their IBM i software which includes ERPLX as the primary application. This follows earlier long term contracting assignments with the company.
